Peyton Manning Statistics

Have you ever watched the Colts with Peyton Manning at the helm? It is absolutely amazing how he runs that offense like a well-oiled machine. He actually call plays right at the line of scrimmage. Do you know how savvy a quarterback must be in able to perform at the highest level?

The Colts very rarely use a regular like the rest of the teams in the NFL, so he must use hand gestures which actually keeps the defense off balance and is great for when they venture into the confines of hostile crowds.

I think this must be added to his statistics to show what a phenomenally versatile quarterback he is. Also I must add Peyton Manning is the leading passer in Colt history. Just another stastistic to add to his long list of accomplishments.

Peyton Manning Statistics

Try and fathom just these records. Now we are not talking about pee wee football or little league football, nor high school football or even college football. We art talking the Big Leagues..the NFL, the Big Enchilada..

Manning holds NFL records for consecutive seasons with over 4,000 yards passing (4) and the most total seasons with 4,000 or more yards passing in a career (5). Now let me make this a little clearer. For 4 consecutive seasons in the NFL Peyton Manning has thrown for over 4000 yards.

And not only that, for 5 seasons Manning has thrown for over 4,000 yards. That hard to comprehend but I guess we have come to expect superman numbers from Him. What does he do for an encore?

He is the all-time career leader in passing yardage

He led the league in passing 3 times already

Most consecutive seasons leading the league in passing (3)

Second highest passing rating in career

He has the highest passer rating in a season 121.1

Peyton Manning Wife Ashley Pt 2

I think we need to learn a little bit more about Ashley Manning since she is after all Peyton Manning's wife and very much exposed to the public eye.

Some think that she is a bit aloof. But her wisdom shines through in her statement "I like to stay out of the spotlight," she says. "People may think I am aloof, but I'm not, and I am not shy by any means, but I always let Peyton shine." A woman who is completely at ease with who she is.
Ashley's sister seems to second the notion: "In the last year, she has become more recognized, but she definitely does not seek the limelight," Luter says.

Manning realizes she is important to Peyton's career. "The way I really help Peyton is that I don't demand a lot of his time," she says. "He's willing to give it, but I'm not the type of person that is nagging on him. I think that helps him. He's able to do what he needs to do and I'm very independent. I do a lot of my own things." Amen brother...She seems like a wonderful wife to me.

A lot of people don't realize this but Ashley Manning, Peyton Manning's wife, is a Real estate Tycoon in the making. Ashley attended the University of Virginia and graduated in 1997 while majoring in finance and marketing. Working in the field that she loves, real estate , she has built three spec homes in Tennessee. Her real estate development company is honing in on Indianapolis where she is involved in marketing a downtown residential development property. Quite a busy lady eh? Doing more spec homes seems to be on the horizon for Peyton Manning's wife Ashley...she sure isn't taking a back seat to Peyton is she? Her love for spec houses is summed up in this statement: "I really love seeing it go from nothing to this house. I love business. I've always been a business girl. When I was a little girl, I played banker," she laughs. "I was imitating my dad."

Peyton Manning Wife Ashley

You remember the old saying "behind every good man is a good woman" well I think in the case of Peyton Manning's wife Ashley this saying holds true.

Ashley Manning - just letting the name roll from your lips immediately suggests the Old South with all its charm. Indeed, she was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and along with three siblings, an older sister and a younger brother and sister, she was raised in the atmosphere of exuding southern charm and hospitality. Although her father was a successful investment banker and real estate developer and her mother was a stay-at-home mom, the children learned early in life to care for and give to others. Her parents would take the children to help other families not as fortunate as they, and this made a lasting impression on Ashley Manning. The example set by her parents was so ingrained in her that during her junior high school years, she became involved in a summer program called Service Over Self in which students worked with disadvantaged families in renovating their homes. The program called for students to volunteer for a week during the summer. Ashley Manning, always willing to give more, worked for four weeks.

According to her sister, Allison Luster, Ashley Manning was extremely competitive. For example, Allison laughingly tells the tale that if she, Allison got a 95 for a test grade, say in math, Ashley would report that she had a 98 on her exam in history. Ashley was involved in Youth for Christ in her community and also with tutoring every Saturday with the Boys and Girls Club throughout her high school years.

Once again, we might say, due to her parents’ early influence, Ashley Manning was highly honored for giving to others by being inducted into the Acensus Society, an honor society which recognizes students who have excelled in charity activities. Allison, who is 14 months older than Ashley also reports that they were like twins, even to wearing the same style and color of clothes. That doesn’t mean they always got along; quite the contrary, just like other sisters, they had their fights also. But now, according to Allison, they are very close, calling each other daily, and she declares that Ashley Manning is the best aunt in the world to her three young daughters. She says the best gifts or toys her kids have, actually are given to them by Ashley and Peyton.

Today Ashley Manning is a typical, attractive, young lady (31 years old) who is the proud wife of Peyton Manning, quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts. She is still energetic, she still loves to have fun, and she still has that Southern drawl. As a modern wife and a working woman following in the footsteps of her father as a real estate developer, Ashley Manning keeps busy with her special interest projects, never forgetting the impact of her childhood experiences in helping others.

Is Peyton Manning Married

Now I'm going to be brief today and before I go into more statistics on Peyton Manning I have to set something straight for all the ladies. Is Peyton Manning Married?...The answer is Yes-I'm sorry Peyton Manning is extremely married and very happy it seems. In fact Peyton and his beautiful wife Ashley live in Indiana and are very involved in various community projects and seem to be loved by all. They were introduced to one another by a neighbor of her parents the summer before Manning's freshman year at the university of Tennessee, and were married in Memphis on St. Patrick's Day in 2001. Just for a little more proof that Peyton Manning is married, here are a few pictures of his lovely wife Ashley.

Peyton Manning Statistics Pt1

There's Peyton with his father Archie when he was with the Tennessee Volunteers
Hello again..I'm sure everyone is very interested in Peyton Manning's Statistics. We will delve into his statistics in the coming posts and I'm sure you will see how extraordinary this man is as a quarterback.

First of all let's take a look at his personal statistics. His full given name is Peyton Williams Manning; born to Archie Manning a famous quarterback himself at Mississippi and the New Orleans Saints, and Olivia Manning the former Homecoming Queen at Ole Miss. Peyton is a tall one at 6-5, weight 230 and in the prime of his career at age 31. He was born March 26, 1976, in New Orleans Louisiana. He played his high school ball at Isidore Newman HS in New Orleans-went on to play college quarterback for the Tennessee Volunteers. Then of course He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts and is now setting all the passing records in the NFL. (Talking about Peyton Mannings Statistics...)

So he grew up in a very loving and supportive family with big brother Cooper, born two years earlier (1974) , and Eli who came into the world 5 years after Peyton. What an athletic family...can you imagine the ball games they had together? It must have been fun!
It was pretty evident that these boys might be destined for athletic endeavors-even at birth Peyton weighed in at over 12 pounds...more defensive line possibilities than quarterback wouldn't you say?

It really wasn't astonishing that the boys were so large and athletic seeing as though they came from Archies' loins. Archie Manning was a two time all-American at quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels and went on to play for the New Orleans Saints in their fledgling years and retired after 14 years in the NFL.... He was a legend and remains a legend in the south where old football stories are still spun and relived on the front porches and in the local restaurants. Archie passed on the legend and the talent to his sons but in a way that was layed back and not at all forced. In fact if he gave them football help or advice a prerequisite was that the boys would do the seeking....I think his method turned out mighty fine how about you? Peyton Manning's statistics start with his family.

Peyton Manning-Great Player-Great Person

Peyton Manning-Great Player-Great Person Hello and welcome to a Biography on one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of football. There are many reasons I started this blog but one of them is my great admiration for Peyton Manning..not only as a football player but as a gentleman and human being. He comes from great stock as he is the son of another great quarterback Archie Manning, who I had the great pleasure of watching in his heyday.

What is amazing is that one family could turn out three quarterbacks that played from the high school level to the professional level. What is utterly amazing is that these three could excel at all levels. What is even more utterly amazing (which would be utterly, utterly amazing) is that all three seem to exhibit quality character also..which is absolutely a rarity in this day and age in sports.
